Botox/Dysport Treatments

Neurotoxin or neuromodulators, more commonly known by the brand name Botox, are an injection that has both therapeutic and aesthetic uses. Anti-wrinkle treatments work by injecting a tiny amount of medication that causes the muscles of the face and neck to relax. This muscle relaxation means no muscle contraction and therefore reduced fine lines and wrinkles. 

What you need to know...

Neuromodulators or 'botox' when injected by  a skilled injector should provide a subtle softening of muscle movements. Never unnatural or frozen.

What areas and concerns are managed with botox?

  • Treatment of fine-lines and wrinkles

    • Horizontal Forehead lines (Frontalis)​

    • 11s or vertical lines between the eyebrows (Glabella)

    • Brow Lift

    • Crows Feet around the eyes (Orbicularis Oculi)

    • Jelly Roll, the fold of skin that can appear under the eye

    • Bunny Lines, the wrinkles that appear when you scrunch up your nose

    • Nose tip flip (Tinker Bell tip flip)

    • Gummy smile, drops the lip height when smiling

    • Lip Flip, allows more of the pink area of the lip to remain showing when smiling

    • Vertical Lip lines ("Smokers' Lines", though all people even non-smokers have these)

    • Corner of the mouth flip up (softens a downturned mouth, treatment of the DAO muscle)

    • Pebbled Chin (Orange peel or golf ball texture to the chin with certain movements)

    • Jawline (usually in combination with other areas for the Nefertiti Neck Lift)

    • Neck bands (Platysmal Bands)

    • Tech Neck (Horizontal lines across the neck, commonly caused by looking down at phones)

  • Skin Rejuvenation
